Greetings,

Thanks for being here and looking at our site. In a fast paced culture, it takes courage to take a look inward and become more connected with what is important to you and what truly matters.

I lead with many C’s. Connection, communication, compassion, creativity, playfulness, curiosity and courage are at the heart of my work. The way we relate to ourselves can make such a difference in our everyday lives. If we learn to treat ourselves with mindful compassion, we become internally motivated to make the changes we want to make to live our best lives. It is often deeply ingrained in humans to be self critical and harsh towards ourselves.

We work together where I support you in your strengths, while creating new patterns to help re-wire parts of the brain that has been conditioned to absorb criticism and/or negative experiences while building upon new skills for developing a wholehearted life. It’s okay to not be good at this. It takes time and it is part of the therapeutic process.

Formally, I have been practicing Social Work since 2006 and my work brings me great joy. I’ve been involved in the human service arena since I was a youth. It comes natural for me to turn towards people with care and curiosity.

I have several speciality trainings as well that have enriched my work. I am a Somatic Attachment therapist through The Embody Lab. I am a trained Mindful Self-Compassion teacher through The Center For Mindful Self- Compassion. I am certificated yoga instructor with training in adults and trauma informed through Yoga Medics and children through Rainbow Kids Yoga. I am certified in the work of Brene Brown, The Daring Way. Trained in heart-centered hypnotherapy from The Wellness Institute. I have completed 120 hours with The Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy certification program. I am trained in evidence-based Nurturing Parent Program. Through additional trainings, I use different modalities to improve the quality of life with supporting emotional, physical and spiritual well being.

I work with youth, adults, families, and groups. I specialize and have expertise with: anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, navigating relationships, leadership skills, trauma, perfectionism/shame, OCD, ADHD, parent coaching, career stress, creative blocks, enhancing your many talents/interests, obsessing & re-playing self worth, grief, life transitions, and a yearning to grow. My expertise also includes working with youth who have sensory processing issues, anxiety, trauma and or ADHD.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
