Crystal Mckinney, LLMSW (She/her/hers)

Letting yourself be vulnerable to do some deeper work starts with courage. Thank you for taking that first step. My values come through in the work I do with clients, so experiencing integrity, a space to process with no judgment, and a kind presence are a part of the experience. I work with youth and adults. My area of focus is on anxiety, depression, work stress, burnout, relationships, family of origin, grief,  trauma, parenting, ADHD, divorce and mood disorders.

My therapeutic approach is based on empathy, honesty, and growth. We will work together to come up with a plan based on your needs and objectives. We will establish new thought patterns, heal wounds, and cultivate new ways of being with difficulties in your life. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, stress management, increasing self worth, inner child work, mood management, anxiety reduction, empowerment, and work life balance.

My resume is colored with a variety of jobs working with diverse populations from administrative assistant at a police department to flight attendant that has deeply influenced my work with people. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a Master's in Social Work and a Master's in Human Resources and Labor Relations from Michigan State University

“The future is no place to place your better days." ~Dave Matthews

This reminds me to start with today.
